FAQ
How do I restore my purchase?
Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID. Sign in to Uncan with the same account you used before, then go to the subscription screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure your iPhone is signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID that bought the subscription. If it still doesn't show up, email us.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions go through Apple, so you cancel on your iPhone: open Settings > [your name] (Apple ID) > Subscriptions > Uncan > Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Apple handles refunds under its own policies. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings > Delete account. This permanently deletes your habit data, check-ins, settings and your sign-in identity, and it can't be undone. Cancel your subscription first, because deleting your account doesn't stop Apple from billing you. If you can't get into the app, email us from the address on your account and we'll help.
What is Dex?
Dex is Uncan's AI coach. It's built for short, direct pep talks: getting through a craving, getting back on track after a slip, or reminding you what you're saving. It knows your progress in the app, such as your streak, pouches skipped and money saved, plus the reason you wrote down. Dex runs on Cloudflare Workers AI, a third-party AI service, and the app asks for your consent before your first chat. Your chats aren't stored on our servers.
What Dex isn't
Dex isn't a doctor, therapist or counselor, and Uncan isn't a medical or smoking-cessation treatment. Dex can get things wrong, and it won't advise on medications, nicotine replacement products or withdrawal symptoms. Talk to a doctor or pharmacist about anything health-related. In an emergency, contact local emergency services. In the US, call or text 988 for crisis support.
Something looks wrong with my counters
Days clean and money saved are worked out from your start date, your check-ins and the tin price you entered. Check that those are correct in the app. If the numbers still look off, email us.
